Nasty - woke up this morning with my right eye all gunked up.
Itchy, sore, puffed up gunkiness.
Why the fuck does one eye all of a sudden decide to be gunky?
Although did experience a rare bit of great customer service as a result of it.
Got to work and went to our in-store pharmacist, and rather than getting service with a distinct lack of interest, which unfortunately is the norm in much of London, I was very pleasantly surprised.
Well done to the pharmacist in Farmacia for listening, helping me out and finding alternatives when my first option was out of stock. Not once did it seem like too much trouble or that I wasn’t the most important thing on her mind while I was there.
Eye pretty much gunk free already!

Finally got the date through for my shoulder surgery.
The letter was waiting for me when I got home tonight.
It’s been slmost 6 months since I first saw the specialist consultant, and now that I finally have my surgery date I feel both relieved and weirdly anxious about it.
But most of all I just want to get it over with so I can get through rehabilitation and not have it hanging over me anymore.
Roll on 8th May 2007 - I have a feeling the next 6 weeks are going to go very slowly indeed.
